Transfer Angry Birds scores from iPhone to Mac




The Mac App store enables Mac users to run different iOS applications on different Mac machines, the Angry Birds game is one of them. This is one of the most popular games played on a number of iOS devices. Now with the advancement oftechnology, you can play the game on your Mac system also. One can transfer Angry Birds scores from devices like iPhone to the Mac with a few simple steps.

For the lock or un-jailbroken iPhone the steps you need to follow are given as under:

  • Download the iPhone Explorer application that is an application that can work with iPod Touch, iPad and many other iOS devices.
  • Install the application on your Mac and then the iPhone to the Mac.
  • Now use iPhone Explorer and go to Apps > Angry Birds > Documents.
  • Create a new folder called Angry Birds Files and drag and drop the following files into the folder:DataScore, HighScores.lua, FetchManager, PostManager, Settings.lua.
  • Now install Angry Birds after removing iPhone from the Mac.
  • In the Mac App Store, go to Apps > Angry Birds > Documents and paste the files from the Angry Birds Files folder.
  • Now restart the system and see your Angry Birds scores.

For jailbroken files you need to follow the steps mentioned below:

If the iPhone you are using is jailbroken then you need SSH to the iDevice and SSH client like the Cyberduck. You need to open the Cyberduck and check whether it is set to SFTP, the SSH file transfer protocol. Under the Server, you need to put the IP address of the device. Go to the Angry Birds folder and locate the highscores.lua and copy it to the computer. Now install Angry Birds to your Mac, search for the file in the documents folder and replace the previous one with the new one. Restart the Mac and see the Angry Birds scores.
